Dev Diary 17/2024: Scheduling Overhaul Complete

We've just completed the first phase of our upcoming update! 🚀

Next Time On Endless Studio…

If you're new here, or just need a refresher: Our next update, 2024.3, is the final step before we can start creating the eagerly awaited Manage Your Own Network feature set, chosen by our biggest fans as the next significant feature.

This week, we finished the Scheduling Overhaul phase of the update:

• We implemented a system to convert old schedules to the new format and vice versa (the latter needed for the Early Access period).
• We upgraded the Top Charts screens to accommodate the new scheduling and viewership data.
• We reviewed the game to address any other areas affected by the scheduling changes.

We estimate that update 2024.3 is now approximately 30% done.

Next up, we'll begin developing the Scheduling Office - a new room where you'll see programming for all networks and, eventually, manage your own network’s schedule.
